Automatic Hose Reel Is Used with Ease

The automatic hose reel is very similar to a retractable hose reel.  An automatic one simply means that it will reel itself in with out having to be wound by hand. These make cleaning up after the day’s gardening is done so much simpler. When you work in your garden you will have done a lot of bending, digging, weed pulling and raking. The idea of carting that one hundred foot hose back to the other side of the house after its been rolled though the mud, and then manually rolling it up is not the most difficult task, but also not the most pleasant. The common automatic hose reel can actually rewind the hose from where you are standing. You needn’t even walk to where the reel is attached to your house to pull a lever of push a button. It is the spring-based apparatus within the reel that does the job. You simply tug hard and the hose gets sent back to the reel at lightening speed.

Choosing where to put the automatic hose reel can sometimes be a challenge. You will want to place it where it won’t be too far from the garden, but enable the hose to reach the front and backyards for watering ease. Its best to try to avoid too many corners, so perhaps along a wall on the side of the house will work out best. How long the hose you can use with an automatic hose reel depends in part on the width of the hose. Some can accommodate slightly more than a hundred feet of hose if the hose doesn’t exceed five eighths of an inch. If the hose is narrower then it can hold up to two hundred feet.
